Moving Instant(s)
The proposed set of images comes from a photographic activity conducted as part of a volunteer in a synchronized skating club during the period between 2003 and 2008. I covered a large part of national and international competitions for the club. The final destination of the majority of the pictures was a website and therefore had to be conventional. The blur aspect was not new to the sport, though little used, but always expressed the movement of the figures produced by the group of skaters. My approach was significantly different in the sense that I wanted to "go" in the group and not have a simple overview. What interested me were the individuals forming this homogeneous group. Paradoxically, the movement is a catalyst to capture the moment of an emotion, an exchange, while keeping the overall dynamic of the group. The movement is a set of moments as the team is a group of individuals.
